The Allergic to E Challenge

I was tagged by the wonderful Elm to do this challenge. Her blog is amazing and helps portray all the struggles of being a teenager, so I would definitely recommend checking her out! Anyways, on to the challenge!

The Rules:

• Write a whole paragraph ( a paragraph sounds easy right?) without any word containing the letter “e” (still easy for ya?)
• By reading this you are already signed up.
• Challenge at least five bloggers to do the challenge. They must do it within 24 hours or it is considered as failure.
• If you fail or pass, suffer in Asil’s Hall of Noobs
• If you win, wallow in Asil’s Hall of We

I was really excited to do this post, but I was planning on waiting a day or two, since I just posted a challenge yesterday. However, I read the rules, and when I saw that I had to do this within 24 hours, I freaked out! I know that might seem like a bit of an overreaction, and maybe it is, but I WILL NOT FAIL. So, I decided to do this challenge as soon as possible. Hope you enjoy!

I cannot stand spring! It’s full of going swimming and hanging out with unfamiliar guys and girls. I don’t know why I’m in this party, and I just want to go. I look at my drink, sorrowful and gloomy.

“I didn’t know Sarah brought a normal girl to this party,” an unfamiliar guy says, grabbing my arm and taking us to a still part away from said party. “Ow! What is going on?” I say, rubbing my arm in pain. I look up at him, hoping to find guilt and humiliation staring back. But I couldn’t downplay my shock at who I saw. Will! Why is Will at this?. I try to walk away, but Will grabs my arm again. “Stop that!” I shout angrily. “Will, what could you possibly want? Stop ruining the party!” Will looks down, biting his lip anxiously.

“I want to talk to you,” 

“About what?! You said that I should go as far away from you as I can, and that’s what I’m doing!” 

“I’m sorry. I didn’t want to say that.”

“What did you want to say?!”

“I was trying to talk, and you just randomly got mad about my shirts on my bathroom floor!” 

“I want you to pick up your shirt, as it might turn dirty! I am truly fond of you, but you can’t ask for my assistance for random trivial things! Do your own laundry!”

“I am truly fond of you, too.”

What? Will abruptly grabs my hand. 

“Mary, I cannot think of a woman as amazing as you. As smart, alluring, kind, caring, and stunning as you. I have found my missing half, and it’s you. I know I’m not as fantastic as you, but I want you. For as long I am living. Mary-“

Will stops, obviously afraid. His arm pulls out a ring from his coat and puts it on my hand. I look at my hand in shock, admiring how it looks with a ring on it. 

“Will-” I say softly.

“Mary, will you marry-“

“I do!” I blurt out, as panicky as him.

Will stops again and laughs softly.

“You say that at the altar, dummy.”

I grin, too. “I’m not a dummy, idiot,” 

I grab his arm, and both of us walk out hand-in-hand. Possibly spring isn’t as bad as I thought.

Well, that was really difficult. Like unicycling through a fiery pit in hell difficult. And what I wrote was definitely not a paragraph. However, I like to bend the rules a bit and live dangerously. This challenge was also super fun, interesting, and enjoyable, and I believe that I have gained a somewhat valuable lesson from this. What that lesson is, I don’t know yet.
